Role Description
This is a full-time role for a founding Chief Technology Officer (CTO), based in Salt Lake City, UT. The CTO will oversee the .5-1.5 launch for Badgerlane Wealth, ensuring the alignment of technological initiatives with business goals. The CTO will collaborate closely with the CEO/Founder to drive technology-driven solutions and elevate the company's platform to new heights, especially as a novel platform for wealth management.
This is an equity based role that will not incur salaried compensation until a significant fundraising round occurs.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Software Development and Product Development for innovative, customer-focused solutions, especially with financial software
- Strong Project Management skills to oversee timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional team coordination
- Experience in IT Strategy and Architecture to develop and execute technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Ability to lead and mentor technology teams, fostering collaboration and innovation
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with a focus on delivering scalable technological solutions
- Extensive knowledge of financial technology platforms and related industries is highly beneficial
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
