Our client in the financial services and wealth management industry is hiring a Technical Lead to drive technology integration and vendor stack consolidation across multiple acquired firms. The role serves as the primary technology point of contact for M&A initiatives, leading due diligence, integration strategy, and execution of migration plans. The position collaborates with internal teams, vendor partners, and business stakeholders to deliver a common tech stack that accelerates growth and enhances advisor and investor experience.
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. Qualified applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis.
Salary: $140,000 - $165,000/ yr. w2
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of target firms’ technology stacks to identify high-risk systems and integration challenges.
- Analyze vendor contracts, licensing terms, and infrastructure dependencies to inform deal structures and cost models.
- Define and communicate the product roadmap for investor-facing digital platforms.
- Align product strategy with business goals and investor needs.
- Evaluate, select, and manage vendor technologies that enhance the investor experience.
- Oversee integration of third-party tools into the digital ecosystem with interoperability, scalability, and security.
- Manage vendor relationships, including QBRs, contract negotiations, and compliance oversight.
- Create and manage onboarding plans for new-to-firm advisors and investors.
- Champion investor-centric design through analytics, feedback, and usability testing.
- Define KPIs for adoption, engagement, and satisfaction and iterate based on insights.
Experience Requirements
- 3–5+ years as a Product Owner or similar role in digital product development.
- Strong understanding of investor-facing platforms, UX principles, and digital ecosystems.
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and integration tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to balance strategic vision with execution detail.
Education Requirements
- CSPO or equivalent certification preferred.
