Scion Technology has been engaged to conduct a search for an experienced Senior Systems Administrator for our client, a rapidly growing construction company in Eugene, OR! This is a full-time, Contract-to-Hire position based onsite in Eugene.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Senior Network & Systems Administrator will take ownership of the company's vital IT infrastructure while working on numerous innovative projects. This person will be critical in maintaining and enhancing the company’s network and systems. This role requires a proactive mindset, technical expertise and a passion for solving complex IT challenges.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, wireless, and cloud-based networks, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Manage Azure cloud services and Microsoft 365 environment, supporting daily operations and innovative projects like AI integrations.
- Lead network projects, conduct vulnerability assessments, and support incident and disaster recovery plans.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, manage backups, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Provide end-user support, training, and technical guidance, including hardware setup and troubleshooting at various sites.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in network and systems administration, with strong expertise in Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and Azure cloud services.
- Extensive experience managing Microsoft 365 Enterprise Suite (Entra, Intune, SharePoint, CoPilot, Teams, Exchange, Security).
- Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and implement effective solutions.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
This Contract-to-Hire position offers an hourly rate of $36-44/hr, commensurate with experience.
