Position Summary
The Systems Administrator is responsible for supporting and maintaining endpoint devices, local manufacturing systems, and network connectivity across the organization. This role requires deep troubleshooting skills and hands-on support for shop-floor technology, and the ability to learn and support specialized production applications. The Systems Administrator works closely with operations, engineering, and office staff to ensure that all critical technology systems remain reliable and secure.
Key Responsibilities
• Configure, maintain, and support Windows and macOS endpoints.
• First level support of production workstations and shop-floor systems.
• Learn and support specialized local manufacturing software.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues across office and production areas.
• Deploy new equipment and support small-to-medium IT projects.
• Maintain IT documentation, diagrams, and inventory.
Qualifications
Required:
• Experience supporting Windows and macOS devices.
• Strong troubleshooting skills (hardware, software, network).
• Ability to learn new and specialized manufacturing software.
• Experience supporting manufacturing or industrial environments.
Preferred:
• Knowledge of JAMF Pro (JAMF is a plus).
• Experience with Microsoft/macOS.
• Basic networking troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with shop-floor devices such as label printers, and MES systems.
Working Conditions
• This is an in person on-site role.
• May require occasional after-hours support.
• Ability to lift and move IT equipment.
