Senior System Administrator (Hybrid WFH / MSP)
We are a well-established Managed Service Provider delivering high-end IT support and tailored technology solutions to SMB clients. The engineering team is trusted to solve complex problems, set technical standards, and act as subject matter experts across Microsoft, networking, and security environments.
This is a primarily work-from-home role with limited on-site requirements, offering quarterly bonuses on top of base salary. We are hiring a Senior System Administrator to serve as the final escalation point for complex technical issues while contributing to select infrastructure projects. This role is heavily focused on advanced troubleshooting and root-cause resolution, with project work used strategically to strengthen environments and prevent repeat issues.
What You Will Do
• Serve as the top-level escalation resource across client environments
• Perform deep troubleshooting across Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Windows Server
• Diagnose complex workstation, server, and application issues
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot SonicWall firewalls
• Support advanced networking including VLANs, routing, VPNs, and WAN connectivity
• Work hands-on with Ubiquiti switches and wireless access points
• Deploy and support Hyper-V virtualization environments
• Support Intune and endpoint management initiatives
• Participate in targeted projects such as firewall deployments, server builds, and network refreshes
• Perform root-cause analysis and improve documentation and technical standards
• Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams during high-impact issues
What You Bring
• MSP experience in a senior escalation or systems administration role
• Advanced troubleshooting skills across Microsoft and networking stacks
• Strong firewall experience, SonicWall strongly preferred
• Solid server administration and virtualization background
• Calm, structured approach to complex problem solving
• Strong documentation and client-facing communication skills
• Relevant certifications are a plus
