Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Pearl, MS, for a Systems Administrator I. The Systems Administrator I will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT systems, network infrastructure, and server hardware. Additionally, the role involves providing technical support, resolving system issues, managing system updates, and ensuring the agency’s IT systems are secure and efficient to support its critical operations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in System Administration, including system setup, configuration, and maintenance
- Strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues
- Knowledge of Network Administration and maintaining network security and performance
- A solid foundation in Information Technology principles and practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate within a team structure
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or similar are a plus
