The Keller Group is partnering with a well-established, Arizona-based organization to hire a Lead Systems Administrator to support daily operations across servers, networks, and end-user systems. This key role will work closely with leadership to maintain a stable, secure environment and provide hands-on support across the business. This is a fully onsite position, so all candidates must be in the Greater Phoenix Area. We're looking for someone who is experienced, direct, and comfortable owning systems administration and troubleshooting in a fast-moving environment.
What You’ll Do:
Own Core Systems + Network Operations
- Manage and maintain Windows server environments and core infrastructure
- Monitor performance, reliability, and system uptime
- Troubleshoot complex issues across systems, networking, and user environments
Support Microsoft 365 + Active Directory
- Administer Microsoft 365 (users, permissions, policies, security settings)
- Manage Active Directory and user access controls
- Support endpoint and identity-related troubleshooting
Manage Network + Security
- Configure and support network components including firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, routing, and switching
- Support cybersecurity tools, patching, and standard best practices
- Ensure systems meet security and compliance expectations
Support Industry Software + End Users
- Provide support for AutoCAD and related workstation environments
- Assist with troubleshooting software performance and access issues
- Provide onsite technical support for daily employee needs
Documentation + Process Improvement
- Maintain clear documentation for system configurations and procedures
- Recommend improvements for stability, security, and efficiency
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or relevant field.
- 6-8+ years of progressive experience with IT systems administration
- AutoCAD experience required
- Expertise with Windows Servers, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365
- Advanced networking knowledge (firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, routing/switching)
- Comfortable supporting various offices and remote employees
- Solid grasp of troubleshooting skills and hands-on firewall experience (SonicWall knowledge is a plus)
- Clear, professional communicator who's comfortable working independently
- Able to work in office (Monday-Friday)
