We are currently seeking an experienced System Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of enterprise IT systems and infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- System Administration: Manage, maintain, and optimize client IT environments, including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization platforms.
- VxRail Setup and Support: Design, deploy, and troubleshoot VxRail hyper-converged infrastructure solutions to ensure seamless client operations.
- Monitoring & Maintenance: Monitor system performance, implement updates, and address potential issues proactively.
- Client Support: Act as a technical resource for clients, resolving escalated issues efficiently and professionally.
- Security: Ensure system security through best practices, regular updates, and adherence to compliance requirements.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of system configurations, procedures, and client interactions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other IT team members to implement solutions, share knowledge, and achieve project goals.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3–5 years in a System Administrator role, preferably in an MSP environment.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Expertise in server hardware, storage systems, and networking.
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
- Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Knowledge of security protocols, firewalls, and endpoint protection.
- Certifications:
- Relevant IT certifications are a plus (e.g., VMware, Dell EMC, Microsoft, CompTIA).
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
