Job Description
The role of a successful Systems Administrator III is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of security systems including access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems. This role requires a proactive individual with strong technical skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain various security systems including but not limited to access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems.
- Perform system upgrades and modifications to meet client requirements and adhere to industry standards.
- Work collaboratively with project teams to ensure the successful implementation and integration of security solutions.
- Promptly identify and resolve technical issues to maintain system functionality.
- Conduct diagnostic tests and use troubleshooting tools to analyze system performance and determine solutions.
- Provide both remote and on-site support to address client concerns efficiently.
- Engage directly with clients to understand their needs and respond to inquiries.
- Offer training and guidance to clients on system operation and maintenance.
- Foster positive client relationships through effective communication and problem resolution.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all service activities, including service reports, equipment inventory, and configuration changes.
- Collaborate with the technical support team to contribute to knowledge bases and share best practices.
- Ensure that all installations and services meet company and industry standards.
- Conduct regular quality checks and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in a related role.
- Exceptional customer service skills, both over the phone and in person, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PDF.
- 8+ years of strong troubleshooting skills in networking, network cameras, circuitry, relays, reading wiring diagrams, and using digital multimeter testers.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and directions in a dynamic work environment.
- Demonstrates initiative and engages in proactive behavior.
- Ability to foster a positive working environment for both customers and team members.
- Strong understanding of networks and network troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge in the use of diagnostic and troubleshooting tools.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and a detail-oriented approach.

- Security Clearances: This position requires a Secret Security Clearance. The clearance requirements are determined by the agency(s) in which you are assigned. Convergint Federal will sponsor the level of clearance required. However, it will be your responsibility to obtain and maintain your required level of clearance.
Additional Information
Hourly Range: $40/hour to $48/hr
