MissionHires is seeking a Network Administrator to manage and optimize our network infrastructure. You will handle network setup and maintenance, enforce security and access controls, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high performance and compliance. Ideal candidates have hands-on experience in network operations, strong communication skills for user support and training, and familiarity with modern networking tools and certifications.
How You'll Contribute
- Configure, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls, wireless)
- Implement and manage security and access control policies (ACLs, VPNs, segmentation)
- Monitor network health and performance; identify and remediate bottlenecks
- Provide troubleshooting and end-user support for network-related issues
- Optimize network performance through capacity planning, QoS, and tuning
- Maintain detailed network documentation, diagrams, and inventory
- Ensure compliance with security standards and internal policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business and platform needs
What Makes You a Great Fit
- 2+ years of experience in a Network Administrator role
- Proven experience with network operations, monitoring, and performance analysis
- Strong troubleshooting skills across LAN/WAN/Wi‑Fi environments
- Experience implementing security and access controls (e.g., VLANs, ACLs, VPNs)
- Strong communication skills to train and assist users and stakeholders
- Ability to create and maintain accurate network documentation and procedures
- Preferred: Fortinet Certified Associate (or higher)
- Preferred: 4-year degree in Information Technology or related field
- Preferred: Arista ACE Level 2 (or higher) and experience with Arista switches
- Preferred: ArubaOS experience (configuration and management)
- Preferred: Experience supporting networks in a Manufacturing environment
