IT Systems Administrator – Manufacturing

We are partnering with an established manufacturing company in the Houston area. This is a fast-paced production environment where IT is essential to keeping systems running securely and efficiently.
We are seeking a hands-on IT Systems Administrator to support both on-premise and cloud systems, manage endpoints, maintain cybersecurity tools, and support network infrastructure.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and optimize virtualized server environments
- Support enterprise email, collaboration tools, and productivity platforms
- Manage endpoint protection, compliance, and remote administration
- Monitor firewall, VPN, and secure remote access systems
- Maintain structured wired and wireless network infrastructure
- Oversee Active Directory, user access, and identity integrations (hybrid environment)
- Perform basic SQL administration and backup support
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to maintain system uptime
- Qualifications:2+ years of experience in Systems or Network Administration
- Strong experience with virtualization and VM administration
- Experience with endpoint management and cloud security platforms
- Knowledge of hybrid Active Directory environments
- Network management and segmentation experience (wired & wireless)
- Experience supporting business productivity platforms
- Comfortable supporting both IT and operational technology (OT) systems in a manufacturing environment
- Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
- Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting and computer work
- Frequent walking within production environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
