Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or higher with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Position Description: We are looking for an experienced person to join our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about coding and developing scalable and high-performance applications. You will work closely with our front-end developers, designers, and other members of the team to deliver quality solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
9+ years of experience in DevOps and Release Management activities
Strong expertise in the following tools and technologies: Ansible, Groovy, Shell Scripting, Docker, Kubernetes, ARGOCD, Terraform, Python, TFS, IIS, MQ, PowerShell scripting, SQL queries, ELK, Jenkins, Maven, NPM, NuGet, Tomcat, Apache HTTP
Experience working on cloud platforms with hands-on experience with IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and IaC tools like Terraform
Knowledge of Linux/Unix, WAS/JBoss Tomcat, IIS, and Apache MQ (Kafka is an added advantage)
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to understand application and server logs
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, Ant, NPM, NuGet, Liquibase, Artifactory, Nexus
Expertise in configuring monitoring tools like Logstash, Kibana, Elastic Search, with knowledge of GROK
Familiarity with Dynatrace, Prometheus, and Grafana
Experience with writing scripts in at least three languages (Ansible, PowerShell, Python, Shell scripting)
Basic knowledge of writing SQL queries/scripts and basic error codes
Understanding of Agile development/release models and experience with scripting tools like Selenium
Web or application programming background and knowledge of Java/J2EE applications
Knowledge of relational databases and admin commands for troubleshooting
Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)
Ability to solve problems collaboratively and share knowledge with teammates
Effective stakeholder management skills
Knowledge of AI and ML models is an added advantage
Experience in large scale multi-tier web application release management
Direct Responsibilities
Automate complex tasks using DevOps tools and technologies
Identify automation opportunities and implement industrialized solutions
Ensure high availability of non-production environments and perform business-as-usual (BAU) activities as required
Develop and enhance DevOps/DevSecOps pipelines for existing and new applications
Collaborate with team members to provide solutions and support
Drive automation initiatives with effective stakeholder management
Contributing Responsibilities
Update knowledge base documents to ensure they are up-to-date
Participate in cross-training with the team to gain and share knowledge
Support peers in completing BAU and project tasks
Develop backup subject matter experts (SMEs) in the team for self-sufficiency.
