Overview

The Informatica MDM Architect leads the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) solutions, ensuring data consistency, quality, and governance. This role drives architectural direction, technical standards, and best practices for Informatica MDM initiatives.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and optimize end-to-end MDM solutions using Informatica MDM, including data modeling, integration, workflows, and quality frameworks.
Define architecture standards, governance processes, and best practices to ensure consistent, high-quality master data across domains (Customer, Product, Vendor, etc.).
Configure, customize, and deploy Informatica MDM Hub, Data Director, and related components; integrate with ERP, CRM, data warehouses, and other enterprise systems using Informatica PowerCenter, IDQ, and ETL tools.
Lead data migration, cleansing, enrichment, and match/merge/survivorship rule implementation.
Provide technical leadership, mentor development teams, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to architecture standards.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable solutions, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
8+ years in data management, with 4+ years in Informatica MDM architecture.
Expertise in Informatica MDM (Hub, Data Director, IDD, SIF APIs), certifications preferred.
Strong skills in data modeling, ETL, data quality (PowerCenter, IDQ), and SQL/PL-SQL.
Experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server) and cloud MDM (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Knowledge of data governance, stewardship, and master data domains.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
