Our 71+ year old company is owned by 29 independent Farm, Ranch & Home retailers (“Members”) who operate approximately 700 stores across the US and Canada with combined annual sales in excess of 7.5 billion dollars. Position Overview

Mid-States is seeking a talented IT professional to help design, implement, and support our environment. From managing switches and routers to assisting end users with day-to-day needs. This role is hands-on, varied, and essential to keeping our business running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain both cloud and internal network infrastructure
Install and integrate new server hardware and applications
Monitor and maintain needed updates across the network
Monitor and ensure network security and connectivity
Resolve problems reported by end users
Define, manage, and automate network policies and procedures
Administer servers, desktops, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, handhelds, smartphones, software deployment, and other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

Generally, the job requires 80% sitting, 10% walking, and 10% standing. This job is performed in a generally clean environment. The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, some stooping and significant fine finger dexterity.
