As a Director level consultant with A&M’s GCRS practice, I focused on the following services for our clients :
• Executive Leadership Services : Assume all operational and budget management for existing security functions; design and implement an Information Security program, teams, and capabilities of client companies while serving as interim CISO. Once a stable and mature information security capability is achieved, aid in the selection of new CISO-level leadership.
• Advisory Services : Conduct varying tiers of cybersecurity readiness and information risk assessments against industry frameworks and regulatory requirements and establish a target state profile for the client’s cyber/information security program. Establish remediation roadmaps with prioritization matrices, costing estimates, and high-level project plans for achieving the desired target security state.
• Incident Response Services : Guide incident response and breach investigation activities for client companies both during breach containment and post-containment. Determine root cause, initial point of intrusion/breach, and scope of the incident are accurately identified, ensure containment and eradication measures are effective, guide recovery efforts, and apply lessons learned to future incident preparation and response plans.
• Expert Witness Services : In support of client litigation activities, review all relevant and available artifacts (e.g. depositions, discovered e-mails, third party reports, logs, control configurations) and develop an expert opinion regarding the security components of the case. If/as needed, testify as an expert witness in court proceedings.
• Thought Leadership : Provide thought leadership internally to partner practices and the GCRS team as well as externally directly to clients and the general public through authoring of whitepapers and articles for publication.
