Cybersecurity Manager
I compose cybersecurity policies and procedure documents that outline how information systems comply with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and Department of Defense (DoD) requirements. I aid clients in the administration of information security. Perform internal audits of applicable NIST privacy and security controls to determine their effectiveness and compliance. I manage the delivery of contractually required documents and other deliverables. I create System Security Plan (SSP) artifacts in order to gain an Authority to Operate (ATO) for my DoD client's cloud-hosted systems.
• I developed three strategies for obtaining an ATO for Comply-to-Connect Enterprise Reporting Manager and submitted them along with a suggested strategy to the client's program manager.
• I developed the Risk Management Framework (RMF) program and obtained permission to connect to Comply-to-Connect Enterprise Reporting Manager, a repository supporting 4M endpoints throughout a globally distributed enterprise network.

I guided clients on the administration of cybersecurity programs, including access control, disaster recovery planning, and vulnerability management. Monthly and annual career conversations were held with direct reports. I participated in the development of a strategy for an audit and assessment of a cybersecurity service provider. I analyzed enterprise network operations processes, plans, and documents in order to create and suggest improvements for enhanced accuracy, effectiveness, and security. I developed and suggested enhancements for global enterprise network administration and maintenance to clients' senior leadership. I advocated for clients' vision in meetings with higher-level and external organizations, representing the organization from a cybersecurity perspective. I assisted management and operations teams with the acquisition and implementation of system security resources.
• I supervised a staff of five cybersecurity consultants who supported the enterprise network operations of the Air Force, offering access to 1M users and 1.4M endpoints.
