Key Achievements :
• Established and continue to grow a service oriented architecture capability by building through coaching and mentoring a technically solid team that supports the implementation of an enterprise service bus.
• Implemented a Javascript/HTML5 Single Page Application capability as the basis of our future intranet/internet platform.
• Put in place processes and procedures that help the teams to continuously support application hosting services for key applications such as the intranet/web, CRM and other common enterprise level capabilities.
• Led team through migration from a Sun Web Server/WebLogic application server architecture to an open source Apache/Jboss architecture.
• I was appointed to lead and deliver the stabilization effort for the ECOE handhelds project. This activity required coordination of about 30 individuals across all areas of IT. We successfully delivered on this project within the set timelines, scope and quality.

Key Achievements :
• Managed the team that provided imaging related applications support for both YRC and the Regional companies.
• Managed, developed, and reviewed staff performance. Due to the high staff attrition rate in this area, I worked with the HR department to overhaul and re – access the section’s staff complement in terms of numbers, competencies and key roles so as to achieve the business objectives with minimum downtimes and impact to both customers and the bottom line.
• Aggressively reviewed application architecture and identified ways to bring some consistency to system availability.
