Amy Johnson is a successful Senior Manager and Subject Matter Expert in Nuclear Material Control and Accountability (NMC&A) and Security specifically related to Department of Energy and NNSA protection of Special nuclear materials. operations and facilities. She has experience in NMC&A program development, implementation and process improvement for weapons stockpile, pit production, mixed-oxide fuel fabrication and gas centrifuge enrichment facilities. She also has a diversified background in Nuclear Material Safeguards, Security, Training, Curriculum Development, Project Management, Accounting System Design and Development, Information Technology, and Information Security. Amy is now working with the HQ NA-10, NA-19.
Amy has experience in NMC&A program development, implementation and process improvement for the range of DOE, NNSA, and NRC facilities. She also has a diversified background in Nuclear Material Safeguards, Security, Training, Curriculum Development, Project Management, and Accounting System Design and Development.
She operated the approved program and then initiated and successfully completed the project to revise the URENCO USA Material Control and Accounting (MC&A) Program and Plan. Amy also took on the position of Licensing and Performance Assessment Manager and in this capacity from 2014 – 2016 she was able to bring her ability to navigate complicated regulation and effectively implement programs that met company and stakeholder needs staying compliant with requirements.
