Enterprise scope includes destination medical center campuses in Minnesota, Florida, and Arizona, ventures in London and Abu Dhabi, the Mayo Clinic Health System, the Mayo Clinic School of Medicine, Mayo Clinic Labs, and extensive commercial and government research programs.

► Reestablished Mayo Clinic’s information security program, diagnosed initial challenges, developed a comprehensive recovery plan, and quickly achieved short-term objectives set by CAO, CEO, and Trustees.

► Rebuilt information security organization, re-energizing team with a focus on Mayo Clinic mission and values. Lifted effectiveness by establishing role-clarity, and encouraging a transparent, results-oriented team culture.

► Built information security capabilities for the Mayo Clinic Cloud Platform, managing millions of longitudinal medical records for clinical data analytics applications, artificial-intelligence, and advanced research.

► Influenced the enterprise through outreach and collaboration, developing a culture of information security. Built security awareness with business leaders and governance groups, grew an enterprise security ambassador network, and encouraged the alignment of domain security teams elsewhere in the enterprise.
