About
My name is Andrew Kocmoud and I am pursuing a master’s degree in Management Information Systems. I have always had an interest in business and technology and so I chose this field of study because it fit my interests perfectly.
I have enjoyed learning numerous platforms, programming languages, and tools in my time here at Texas A&M University. Some of the tools that I have learned in my coursework are as follows: HTML, CSS, C#, SQL, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access. I am eager to use these tools and others, as well as tools I have yet to learn, to add value to an organization.
My hobbies include: repairing electronics, sports, playing instruments, buying and selling on Facebook Marketplace, spending time with my fiancé, woodworking, and any other cool projects that I can get my hands on.
Upon graduation with my master’s degree, I would love to have a career where I can research and implement emerging technologies. A long-term career goal of mine is to become a Chief Technology/Information Officer for an organization within 10 years of entering the workforce.
