Project Management – Responsible for preparation, deployment and maintenance for over 13,000 end user devices, serving more than 9,800 students and 1,811 employees. Responsible for 29 different facilities. Devices include, Windows XP/7/8.1/10, Mac, Chromebooks, iOS, and android devices.
Management – Provide guidance and oversight to 26 Technology Site Coordinators, along with 13 Junior Systems Analyst, 3 Hardware Technicians, and 3 Network Technicians on a daily basis.
Process Improvement – Tasked with the migration of Windows XP to Windows 7 operating systems. Took this opportunity to go from a archaic imaging process to a new, more efficient process. Saving time and money by reducing turn around time, allowing for more projects to turn over.
Professional Development – Designed and lead the technology based professional development for all users, dealing with an array of competency levels. Worked with the Teacher Facilitators of Technology on other trainings that they provided.
Leadership Trainer – Certified trainer in Interactive Associates “Facilitative Leadership” Training as well as the competition of the “Essential Facilitation” training. Focusing on Facilitating agreement, measuring success with results, processes, and relationships, designing pathways to action, Celebrating Accomplishments effectively, coaching for performance, and identifying and achieving employee involvement.
Customer Services and Support – Team is responsible for any and every software and hardware issue, where our focus is always Customer Service Excellence. Trained technicians and engineers to provide excellent support and responsibilities included technology risks and security issues.
Policies/Procedures/Documentation – Responsible for policy and procedure creation along with documenting processes for use in other departments and training.

Systems Engineer
IT Security Audit - Performed IT security audits for Active Directory environments. Analyzed risk and performed remediation actions. Reported directly to the Chief Security Officer. Concurrently aided in the security audit of a Novell environment.
IT SOX Audit – Testing of key IT controls for multiple companies. Duties included identifying, documenting, and testing controls around backups, datacenters, change management controls, application security, and Network Security.
Penetration Testing - Performed penetration tests against companies' IT security systems. Responsibilities included performing penetration scans and documentation. Used tools such as Nessus and Wireshark to gather information about their systems.
Data Privacy - Performed a data privacy review of a company’s entire network. Analyzed “data at rest” and “data in motion” using the Vericept Data Loss Prevention tool. Used findings to protect employee’s personal information such as SSN/HIPAA information, as well as PCI data.
PCI Compliance – Executed a PCI remediation project. Created policies and documented procedures in order for the client to comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS.) Performed this project in an ultra sensitive environment.
Business Continuity and Crisis Management – Created a Business Continuity Plan for a large retail company. Performed a risk assessment and identified the top 6 business functions vital to the survival of the organization. Documented policies, guidelines and procedures based on Disaster Recovery efforts.
Segregation of Duties – Executed SoD reviews for J.D. Edwards and PeopleSoft ERP systems. Documented findings in a detailed report explaining risks associated with each SoD issue and delivered results to IT Internal Audit Manager. Aided in remediation of issues.
SAP Security – Provided services for a redesign of a corporation’s SAP security structure. Duties involved were testing and documentation of the SAP environment.
