Experience:
I am a member of the Cloud Security and Performance Engineering team whose main goal is centered around the implementation and management of Akamai content delivery network (CDN) solutions. I work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance, availability, security, bot mitigation, and account protection capabilities for web applications and content delivered through Akamai's platform.
AWS WAF is designed to protect against common web exploits and bots that can affect availability, compromise security, or consume excessive resources. Our team implements the following solutions in this regard :
- Monitor enterprise application’s login page for unauthorized access to user accounts using compromised credentials.
- Create rules to filter web requests based on conditions such as IP addresses, HTTP headers and body, or custom URIs.
- Create and maintain rules automatically and incorporate them into the development and design process.
- Application Delivery : Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Bitbucket, AWS Code Pipeline, AWS Code Commit, AWS Code Build, AWS Code Deploy
