I was responsible for creating and designing a front-end system using React JS, and implementing a back-end database with Java Spring Boot. My role also involved developing two separate interfaces - one for customers and one for employees.
In addition, I configured NGINX for rate limiting to restrict the number of requests made to the server by an individual user or IP address within a certain time period.
During my time at the County of San Diego, I gained a strong understanding of web development principles and technologies, including React, Java Spring Boot, and NGINX. I collaborated closely with the team to identify and solve technical challenges that arose during the development process, and I am proud of the solutions we were able to deliver.
