Objective is to govern the corporate network to Cyber Maturity Model (CMMC) compliance (NIST 800-171). Engineer, advise, and guide the implementation of 110 CMMC controls per Federal Regulations to include DFARS. Work with sponsoring agencies to maintain 6 authorization to operate (ATO) utilizing Exacta. Engineered the network infrastructure of a building to comply with TEMPEST and federal agency requirements. Spearheaded Information Assurance training initiatives that were non-existent. Resolved dozens of cyber security incidents utilizing Crowdstrike, Splunk, and Nessus from detection to eradication, authored memos to the CISO, CEO, and goverment sponsored stakeholders on each security incident. Maintained all documentation in regards to Information Assurance policy, procedure, and plan in regards to Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), CMMC, and NIST 800-171. Supported all secure VTC’s for corporate personnel, government agencies, and third party contractors.

Cyber Security and IT Professional with 20+ of IT Service Management experience including the design, implementation, and management of local and wide area networks. 7 years of experience with network routing protocols, network security, patch management, configuration management, problem solving skills, communications skills, and hold a Security+ certification. I returned to school as a student in November of 2008 and graduated with an Associates in Principles of Science from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in Gulfport, MS and a Bachelors of Science in Computer Information Systems emphasis in Computer Security with a Business Minor from Colorado State University-Pueblo. There was a gap of 1.5 years were I was a stay at home father focusing on raising a young daughter when there was not a daycare that could take her and allowing my spouse to move forward with her career, this occurred between June 2008 and January of 2010.
