Projects :
PostBook : Social Network web-app based on Google Cloud and React JS
- Designed and implemented a social network web application with React JS.
- Implemented features for users to log in, create and browse posts and support search nearby posts.
- Improved the authentication using token based registration/login/logout flow with React Router v4 and server-side user authentication with JWT.
- Launched a scalable web service in Go to handle posts and deployed to Google Cloud (Google App Engine)
- Used ElasticSearch (deployed to GCE) to provide search functions such that users can search recent posts and list personal posts.
Starlink Satellite Trajectory Visualization Based on React
- Built a SPA based on React that takes user’s request to visualize Starlink Satellites’ trajectory.
- Set up the Repo with the React official CLI tool(create-react-app) and use NPM to manage project dependencies
- Built forms to collect user observation geological info with Ant Design component library
- Fetched nearby satellites information and position prediction data through the N2YO API(s)
- Animated selected satellite paths using React-Simple-Map to improve the user friendliness
Shopping and Ordering system based on Spring and Hibernate
-Used Spring framework to build a web application for users to shop and order items online.
-Built a web application based on Spring MVC to support item search and listing (dependency injection, inversion of control, REST API etc.).
-Implemented security workflow via in-memory and JDBC authentication provided by Spring Security.
-Utilized Hibernate to provide better support of database operations
-Developed a Spring Web Flow to support item ordering.
