About
With over 12 years of experience in governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) in the financial services industry, I am currently the Business Information Security Officer at Allstate, one of the largest insurance providers in the US. In this role, I work with the business units to ensure that Allstate's information assets are protected from internal and external threats, and that the security policies and standards are aligned with the regulatory and industry best practices. I also manage the GRC team, overseeing the risk assessment, monitoring, reporting, and remediation processes. I hold the CISA and CRISC certifications from ISACA, and I have completed the Systems Thinking course from LinkedIn. I have a strong background in information security, having previously served as the Vice President of GRC at JPMorgan Chase, where I led the development and implementation of the GRC framework and strategy for the global asset management division. I have a Doctor of Business Administration degree with a focus on information security from Northcentral University, and an Associate degree in Business Management and Accounting from the University of Toledo. I am passionate about enhancing the security posture and culture of Allstate, and contributing to its mission of helping people live a good life every day. I bring a diverse perspective and experience to the team, and I value collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
