About
As a Cybersecurity Technologist at Travelers, I am responsible for vulnerability management in the company's open source software, containers, and cloud environments. I have over 1.5 years of experience in this role, and over 2 years of experience as a Cyber Security Analyst at the same company, where I supported risk management of current vulnerabilities and patching requirements for all areas of software and hardware.
I have a strong background in leadership, team management, and problem solving, with 24 years of service in the US Navy as a Leading Chief Petty Officer, where I operated, maintained, and repaired nuclear submarine communications, electronic support measures, and information technology systems. I also have a Bachelor of Applied Science in Management Information Systems and Cybersecurity from Strayer University, and a CompTIA Security+ certification. My goal is to leverage my technical skills and expertise to protect Travelers' systems and data from cyber threats and ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
