Focusing on the particular challenges cyber security policy presents to organisational interests in the current global context.
Current Activities
Undertaking an in-depth and comparative investigation of the structural and conceptual boundaries which define cyber security policy for the following states : the USA, The Peoples’ Republic of China and The Russian Federation.
Exposing the extent to which cyber security policies and events have the power to influence strategic, tactical and operational activities among crucial state institutions, commercial enterprises, as well as individuals and societal groups within the given case studies.
Investigating macro trends (scale of threat, multiplier effect, countermeasures, human element) which are driving developments within a quantitative case study format, and proffering relevant conclusions concerning strategic, tactical and operational level implications faced by commercial and policy relevant interests.
Generating Added Value
Deliver tailor-made, value added analysis and research to commercial and institutional stakeholders : my greatest contribution to any organization is deciphering the constellation of operational issues while finding added value for all interests concerned in terms that comply with both scientific rigor and policy relevant work.
What drives me?
I like to think that after spending half my life abroad, the innovative solutions we seek to the most pressing problems can be derived from taking what others already know as insight and applying it to identified circumstances as we see fit as inference.

Outside my professional life, I have devoted my energies to re-building youth water polo at my home club, CETUS in Espoo, Finland. As part of a dedicated team of amateur enthusiasts, we have succeeded in reinvigorating the club’s program from the brink of collapse. I have been personally involved in strategic planning, training design & organization along with normal coaching duties. Based on my activities at CETUS, I was appointed National Coach for Finland’s U-15 club at the 2016 Nordic Championships.

About
My ambition is to understand this world from perspectives other than my own. Throughout my career, I have prided myself on undertaking assignments and research programs which were seemingly difficult or far from my own personal experiences growing up in the United States. The one constant which has helped my along this career path has been my focus to provide the most objective and accurate assessments of political social and economic challenges facing society today.
What I Did
Based on twenty years of business and academic related experience, I was charged with placing corporate and public sector strategies within relevant structural contexts in order to determine their viability under dynamic business and political circumstances.
What I Want to Do Next
I am always looking to take the next professional and personal challenge.
Ideally, I desire to contribute my unique policy relevant and market based expertise to companies, public organisations or academic institutions seeking a way to move on from standard operations and make the next step in their future development plans.
