Provide Senior level support in an enterprise technology organization, primarily on the Wintel platform by :
Analyzing and troubleshooting more advanced issues and/or problems while adhering to standard incident management processes, which include multiple software and/or hardware platforms. Research customer questions and/or issues, which include corresponding with customers to gather information, calling vendors for assistance, or escalating the problem to another group within IT. Make recommendations for solutions, and resolves problems within Service Level Agreement (SLA). Work with other IT groups to resolve issues if necessary.
Develop tools to help monitor and analyze the performance of complex infrastructure components. Responsibilities include collecting test data, interpreting data and making recommendations for improvements, and developing performance analyses tools and reports.
Takes proactive measures to reduce impact to the business as prescribed by established procedures and author additional recommendations and put them into action.
Respond to customer requests for desktop support for new hardware, software and/or services within the established SLA, which includes handling computers, computer parts, servers, cables, and other related hardware and infrastructure components. Look for ways to improve efficiency, advises customers on best practices, and may deny requests for software, hardware and/or services in order to enhance business performance.
Responsible for the content and production of formal reference material on behalf of the entire work group.
Provide technical guidance to team members and assists in developing the technical skills of team members and customers. Leads efforts in developing and delivering departmental training to the team.
Follows established ISO processes for assigned area. Ensures adequate records are on and retained to support ISO processes.
