About
My work experience can be divided into multiple phases; paid employment as a Supply Chain professional, home-maker, service to non-profit organizations, and now cybersecurity in Healthcare. Even though I studied Biology in college, I found a home at HP in the Supply Chain of one of their inkjet divisions. The analytical skills I learned studying the sciences were directly applicable to the Planning functions at a large technology company.
As a parent of young children, I elected to stay home and support local community organizations. My initial efforts were directed toward the education sector, a logical fit in my case. In school settings I have served as a reading tutor, developed programming for Scouts, and planned events for Parents’ Associations. I have educated groups and individuals about diabetes prevention through a non-profit organization, SkinnyGene Project. Volunteering at the COVID-19 vaccination site on the UC San Diego (UCSD) campus led me to a Case Investigation role for the UCSD Covid Response Team.
Today, I enjoy supporting a growing, dynamic organization, Teladoc Health, as a contractor for the Cybersecurity team
