Experience: I am a Senior Vice President and Privacy and Cybersecurity Counsel to Citizens Financial Group, Inc, the parent company of Citizens Bank, the nation's 12th largest retail bank. As such, I advise on privacy and cybersecurity preparedness, respond to incidents -- small to large --, and help Citizens manages cyber risk. I am also Senior Regulatory Counsel to Citizens, advising on diverse banking, securities, insurance, regulatory issues, including capital planning and stress testing, resolution and recovery planning, the Volcker Rule, portfolio investments, and affiliate transactions. I joined Citizens in February 2016, three months after Citizens completed its corporate separation from the Royal Bank of Scotland.

Previously, I was the Deputy General Counsel and the first Privacy Officer for the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, the nation’s second largest Reserve Bank. I managed the largest team in the Legal Department, which was responsible for information technology, information security, and procurement services for all Reserve Banks in the Federal Reserve System. I also advised on privacy, payments, records, and general corporate matters.

I represented the Legal Department on the Deal Commitment Committee, the Best Execution Committee, and other government committees of the Wells Fargo brokerage affiliate, Wells Fargo Advisors.
