As the Operational Test Manager for the HH-60W Combat Rescue Helicopter program at the Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center (AFOTEC), I am responsible for leading a 14-member test team in the planning, resourcing, and execution of a $7.5M Initial Operational Test & Evaluation(IOT&E). My role includes creating, implementing, and executing test plans, managing resources, and ensuring the successful completion of the IOT&E. Additionally, I serve as a liaison between the team and the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Major Commands, Air Staff, and Special Program Office, providing regular updates on test results and offering recommendations on DoD acquisitions decisions.

As a professional, my overall job responsibilities included overseeing the execution and implementation of a $31M/6160 hour academic and simulator program that aims to provide diverse and robust combat training for students and instructors. I was accountable for evaluating student and contract instructor performance in all phases of initial mission qualification, re-qualification, transition, and instructor upgrade courses. Additionally, I was responsible for managing the planning and execution of 43 devices during academic phases for 7 military airframe’s supporting 7 Major Commands. Furthermore, I supervised and mentored 389 officer and enlisted students during formal training programs and was responsible for managing all aspects of enlisted aircrew professional development.

HH-60G Evaluator Special Missions Aviator | Program Manager | Plans Flight Chief
As part of my job responsibilities, I was responsible for managing all aspects and planning of HH-60G/UH-1N flight and ground training programs for formal training unit instructors and evaluators. I was responsible for conducting platform and combat flight instruction during all phases of initial, mission qualification, requalification, and upgrade training courses. Additionally, I was tasked with producing 248 helicopter aviators at the United States Air Force's only dual-MDS formal training unit, supporting 9 Major Commands. Other responsibilities were to consolidate and disseminate aircrew status and updates to effectively manage 6,526 hours of flight hours for all graduate helicopter training.

As part of my job responsibilities, I was responsible for evaluating 41 SMAs, both ground and in-flight duties, to ensure compliance with established standards for knowledge, skills, and duties. I performed preflight and postflight inspections, calculated performance data, and monitored in-flight system limitations. I troubleshooted aircraft systems and made recommendations for corrective actions to ensure safety and helicopter airworthiness. Additionally, I was responsible for tracking and verifying 240 aircrew qualifications, maintaining 111 Flight Evaluation Folders and coordinating 5K annual training events, which were required for combat readiness. These responsibilities were an integral part of my role in ensuring the safety and readiness of the aircraft and its crew.

As a Cybersecurity Test Engineer Fellow at Oasis Systems LLC, I apply my 20+ years of aviation experience and 5+ years of DoD acquisition testing experience to support the cybersecurity aspects of Major Defense Acquisition Program (MDAP) testing.
