With over ten years of experience in the healthcare field, I am passionate about leveraging my skills and knowledge to help others learn and grow. As a teaching assistant at Code Fellows, I support instructors and students in the Cybersecurity Engineering program, where I share my expertise in cybersecurity and Python scripting. I am motivated by the mission of Code Fellows to empower people from diverse backgrounds and experiences to pursue careers in the tech industry, and I enjoy collaborating with a team of dedicated and talented professionals who share the same vision and values.
Prior to joining Code Fellows, I worked as an Endoscopy Technician at Swedish Medical Center, where I was responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, storing, and maintaining endoscopy scopes. In addition, I assisting the physicians and nurses in the procedure rooms. Through these roles, I developed strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and customer service skills, as well as a keen attention to detail and quality. I am always eager to learn new things and challenge myself, which is why I decided to pursue a Cybersecurity Engineering certificate at Code Fellows in 2022. I am proud to have earned CompTIA Security+ and CompTIA IT Fundamentals+ certifications, and I look forward to applying my cybersecurity skills and knowledge to real-world projects and scenarios.
