Providing support to the Army National Guard Distributed Learning Program (ARNG-DLP) as the Configuration Manger/Cybersecurity Engineer and is responsible for; classroom asset and configuration management for all changes to the baselines in 359 fixed and mobile classrooms, served as the program liaison between ARNG-DLP and the Project Directorate Reserve Component Automation System (PD RCAS) program and the L3 National Security Solution-STRAITS Fielding Office. Provided technical support to numerous ARNG-DLP projects to include; PKI enabling the DLP domain by the use of DoD Visitor, CAC enforcement of the training domain space CODEC refresh for 332 DLP classrooms. As a Cybersecurity professional, he coordinates with the NETCOM, ARMY CIO/G6 Cyber Directorate, ARNG G6 and IA Program Manager on DLP Cybersecurity related issues and participates in the weekly Joint Status Review (JSR) meeting. Also provided Subject Matter Expert (SME) support to the ARNG-Training Division to acquire an Authority to Operate (ATO) and Certificate of Networthiness (CON) for several stand-alone virtual training systems. Planned, coordinated and managed the DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) for these systems and worked with the vendor and system owner to collect and verify IA artifacts, policies and procedures. Worked directly with the vendor to prioritize DIACAP activities for testing, documenting IA control compliance and risk mitigation. Is currently working with all System Owners to transition virtual trainers, systems and applications to eMASS and the Risk Management Framework. Provided technical and administrative support for the ARNG Distributed Learning Reporting and Scheduling System (DLRSS), which is a Commercial Off-The-Shelf enterprise resource scheduling and reporting application which is used throughout the 54 States and Territories.

Provided technical support to numerous ARNG-DLP projects to include; PKI enabling the DLP domain by the use of DoD Visitor, CODEC refresh for 334 DLP classrooms and working with the United States Department of Agriculture to overcome technical obstacles to facilitate organizational training in 22 ARNG-TRN classrooms throughout the states and territories. Provided Subject Matter Expert (SME) support to the ARNG-TS division to acquire an Authority to Operate for the Virtual Convoy Operations Trainer (VCOT) system. Provide Information Assurance (IA) support to the Cyber Security Individual Product Team for the Department of the Navy (DoN) Next Generation Enterprise Network (NGEN). Responsibilities include; creating statement’s of work (SOW) for several RFP’s and providing IA guidance to all other Individual Product Teams regarding their respective SOW’s, aquiring and developing security requirements, creating Request for Information (RFI), creating point papers and white papers, researching DoN, DOD IA policies, regulations and directives, managing four task order studies (budget and overall administration) and providing security SME support for PM NGEN.

Office of Process, Technology and Information
Provide infrastructure support for a team of government users and BAH staff at the Office of Process, Technology and Information located at the Navy Annex. Responsibilities include; backups, hardware configuration, server builds, patching, IAVA remediation, firewall configuration ,centralized log review, vulnerability scanning using both Retina and the DISSA tools, documentation, CAC enabling data center applications, testing support, helpdesk support for a user base of 2500 and general systems administration. The primary task has been the planning and implementation of a new data center to support the AAUSN clemency. This included the network design, hardware purchase, hardware integration, server builds, software configuration, SAN implementation and configuration, and VMWare implementation and configuration. He was also the task lead for the re-location of the AAUSN Data Center from the Navy Annex to the Pentagon. This involved the coordination with the Information Technology Agency Firewall and DNS teams, Pentagon Renovation Team and OPTI subcontractors. The move was executed without incident and all services were back online as scheduled. He has begun integration into the project management aspects of the contract to include, financials, reporting, personnel management and subcontracts.

Mr. Beckman is a Cybersecurity Manager and a Cybersecurity Engineer, working for NCI Information Systems, Inc. Previously he worked for Booz Allen Hamilton (BAH) attached to the Cyber Center of Excellence. He was hired as a Consultant in August 1999 for the National Guard Bureau Distance Learning Project providing Help Desk support and server configuration. Prior to joining BAH, he was employed by American Medical Laboratories and held the position of Technical Supervisor (Special Chemistry). During his tenure at BAH, he worked on several long term projects including AAUSN Office of Process, Technology and Information where he was the lead Systems Administrator/Project Manager and the Department of the Navy's (DoN) Next Generation Enterprise Network where he served as a Cybersecurity SME in support of the Cyber Security IPT. He is recognized as an expert in infrastructure management and Cyber security. He has functional skills in disaster recovery, backups, patch management, vulnerability remediation, systems administration, certification and accreditation and project management. He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Network Defense Architect (CNDA), TILv3 Foundation, CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+. He was presented with BAH Team Appreciation awards in 2/2005, 1/2006, 8/2006 and 12/2009. He was presented with the Value in Practice award in 11/2008 and the BAH Involvement and Impact award 6/2007 for his work with volunteer fire and rescue.
