I was recruited to overhaul a struggling IT department, resolve technology issues, provide executive leadership, and expand team to 6 with oversight of a $1.2M capital budget. I set the strategic direction across the company, identified areas in need of improvement, and developed innovative solutions. I planned and executed new projects and programs in alignment with business requirements and mission in the spirit of continuous improvement. I prepared the organization for CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification).
Highlights of my accomplishments include :
• Upgraded the company’s ERP with 2 revisions of upgrades enabling live data for a more accurate P&L. Improved COGS accuracy from 56% to 93%.
• Led a revitalization data center project that reduced footprint from 3 centers to 1, reduced overhead costs by $400k, and increased uptime from 43% to 99.99%.
• Recommended and managed a major project to revitalize a 300k sq. ft. building. Completed under the projected $3.4M budget. Brought the ground floor of the building to 180k usable machine space online, which led to process consolidation and higher efficiency.
