About
Dr. Amit Elazari is Co-Founder and CEO of OpenPolicy, the world’s first tech-enabled platform for policy intelligence and engagement, aiming to democratize access to future regulatory action, policy and lobbying to entities of all sizes by leveraging scale and technology.
Prior to OpenPolicy, she served as Head of Cybersecurity Policy for Intel Corp. where she was responsible for shaping and executing Intel’s global security policy engagement across all of Intel's products and technologies. She recently chaired the Cybersecurity Committee for the Information Technology Industry Council (ITI), U.S. leading technology trade association among others. Elazari holds a Doctoral Degree in the Law (J.S.D) from Berkeley Law, the world's leading tech law institution, and graduated summa cum laude with three prior degrees in law and business. She is the first Israeli ever admitted to a direct-track doctoral degree in the law in a leading U.S. university.
Dr. Elazari research appeared in leading academic and computer journals, key conferences such as RSAC, Black Hat, DEFCON, USENIX and was featured at the WSJ and NYT and awarded by policymakers. She is a professional speaker and often speaks and keynotes in venues such as RSA, SXSW and CES. In 2018, she co-founded Disclose.io, a non-profit that fosters adoption of legal protections for good-faith security research, adopted by governments, federal agencies and thousands of organizations globally.
Dr. Elazari has a diverse background in technical, policy, and legal roles, and practiced Hi-tech, Venture Capital, and M&A law at Israel's largest law firm, Goldfarb Gross Seligman & Co. She is also a Lecturer at the University of California (UC), Berkeley School of Information Master in Information and Cybersecurity and Reichman University as well as a member of the External Advisory Committee for the Center of Long Term Cybersecurity.
