Apply IT security principles, methods and security products to protect/maintain availability, integrity, confidentiality, and accountability of IS resources and information processed throughout the system's life cycle. Establish/publish base-wide policies to manage the base COMPUSEC program and provides advice and guidance in its implementation and in procedures used in the development and operation of systems. Assist all base organizations in the development of their individual INFOSEC programs.
Review, analyze, and validate assessment and authorization (A&A) packages through RMF. Continuously identify and analyze threats and vulnerabilities to the IS. Ensure computer software designs address IT security requirements. Evaluate, assess, or locally test and approve all hardware, software, and firmware products that provide security features prior to use on any accredited IS or network.
Execute computer security plans and enforces mandatory access control techniques such as trusted routers, gateways, firewalls, or other methods of IS protection.
Reports to National Security Agency all incidents involving viruses, tampering or unauthorized system entry. Limits access to privileged programs (i.e., operating system, system parameter and configuration files and databases), utilities, and security-relevant program.
Communications Security (COMSEC) Manager for all cryptographic activities including managing the Cryptographic Access Program (CAP). Formulate and develop COMSEC criteria and requirements for inclusion in mobility, contingency, and exercise plans. Maintain accountability for sensitive cryptographic materials/COMSEC info. Oversee issuance of COMSEC materials. Maintain COMSEC inventory on the COMSEC Material (CM2) database. Prepare and evaluate plans for emergency actions and ensures personnel are fully qualified in the execution of plans. Investigate COMSEC security incidents to determine the possibility of compromise to COMSEC.

Staff advisor to the base commanders for records management (RM), FOIA and PA/PII issues. Provide critical communications and information systems and direct operational support to the 6 AMW, 927 ARW, USSOCOM, USCENTCOM, and 35 other tenant units. Provides RM consults to improve mission effectiveness, information resource efficiency, and resource savings. Accomplishes records disposition each calendar/fiscal year. Oversee 580 records personnel. SME for Wing Inspector General during inspections of over 200 subordinate program offices.
FOIA Program Manager : Evaluate release/denial recommendations from each level and resolve conflicting opinions and ensures release/denial based upon regulatory authority. Promotes public access of information through the effective use of information technology in accordance with applicable regulations.
PA Program Manager : Develops and oversees the implementation of policies, principles, standards, training and guidelines on privacy, confidentiality, security, disclosure, and sharing of information, collected or maintained by or for the installation in accordance with regulations.
In concert NCC, NOSC and IA, evaluates locally developed automated information systems and applications at the design phase to ensure compliance with the PA, FOIA, and ERM requirements. Develops life cycle cost analysis for new information systems. Minimizes the cost to create, collect, maintain, share, disseminate, and preserve information in accordance with (IAW) Titles 36 and 44 of the CFR. Advises on the potential benefits/uses of automated systems to improve the efficiency of administrative support or program operations. Formulates strategic plan initiatives in support of Information Resource Management concepts, installation of new technology, manpower, and money needed to enhance productivity of organizational programs corporately across the entire installation.

Coordinate and perform a wide variety of administrative and management services essential to the operations of the executive office including, but not limited to, management and information systems, telecommunications, budget, finance, travel, procurement, human resources, purchasing, training, logistics, property, space, records and files, printing and graphics, mail, and office equipment.
Appointed to serve as the final editor, approver for all sole-source justification memorandums for contracting purposes. Obtained, entered, and approved time and attendance for all management personnel (approximately 30+ individuals). Worked directly with the project manager of a $2.5 million building renovation by assisting with monitoring contractor performance for compliance with applicable laws, delivery schedules, payment provisions, inspections, contract and date reporting requirements; contacting contractors to clarify issues on contractual requirements (as necessary); review, analyze, and evaluate cost and price data in contractor proposals. Also assisted with resolving cost and accounting issues.
Served as final approver for travel orders, and vouchers in addition to providing assistance and training to staff members and students for travel processes. Prepared complete travel arrangements and expense reports for multitudes of Executive staff (GS13-15).
Served as an advisor to management on assigned administrative matters and special projects. Routinely participated in the evaluation of administrative programs, systems and methods to identify ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of those services.
Primarily served as the Executive Staff Assistant to the Director and Chief of Staff of the ICE Academy (ICEA). In addition, provided administrative support to all executive staff within the Academy (20+ Division/Section Chiefs, GS13-15 level personnel).
