Experience:
Technical expert liaison for DCSIM (Deputy Chief of Staff for Information Management) and Command Staff Offices, coordinating with organizations within WTC and outside organizations for IT requirements to include : acquisition, budget, functional descriptions, reports, and integration of software and hardware. IT mission areas includes : hardware, software, telecommunications, records management, visual information, publications and technical manuals. Focal point for all aspects of the WTC IA program, providing expert advice and guidance pertinent to IA program policies, guides and procedures during all stages of the automation process. Enforces security policies and safeguards for WTC systems, including stopping system operation, if warranted, by the seriousness of security violations. Manages the organization oversight for all Information Security and the organization IAM (Information Assurance Manager) to include NIPRNET (Nonsecure Internet Protocol (IP) Router Network), SIPRNET (Secret Internet Protocol Router Network), ROAMS (Replacement Operations Automated Management System) accreditation, remote access, IAVA’s (Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert) and virus update issues.

Managed the installation/de-installation, administration and maintenance of all LAN/WAN equipment across the installation, including, but not limited to fractional T1’s and larger circuits, premise wiring, and LAN systems, ICAN routers and switches, ATM equipment, SONET equipment, multiplexers and controllers, DSU/CSU modems, media converters, fiber and copper based patch panels, and test equipment within US Army SNEC-Fort Belvoir. Provided WAN support for circuits connecting to Fort Belvoir, such as Fort AP Hill, Fort Myer, Fort McNair and Arlington National Cemetery.
