About
My experience is very varied, its hard to write it all down. In the past I was tasked mostly with running a network of over 2000 PCs and servers with about 22,000 users. In the execution of those duties, in order to make due with less money and less help I researched and deployed a number of time saving tools at our University. For most of my tenure in Stony Brook University's Department of Instructional Computing, we prided ourselves on being way ahead of the curve. (Ghost, Ghost Console, PXE, ADS, Active Directory, Sharepoint, NLB/ALB Clustering, IPSEC, Terminal Services, and many more technologies...)
My current position is quite challenging, not because security in itself is challenging, but because getting people to be secure... is *REALLY* challenging. I am a senior Infosec analyst and I am involved in eDiscovery, forensic data collection and analysis, some network defense and security architecture for systems.
Specialties: Windows Systems Architecture and Administration, Unix Administration, Programming, Scripting, Systems Security, LAN Level Networking, Supervisor, Computer & Systems Consultant.
