1. Set up Liquid Detergent/ Fabric Softener Supply Chain in Asia :
- Started up joint venture Liquid Detergent plant in Kuantan Malaysia : developed and qualified raw material supply chain both international and local; set up on- the- ground technical support capability in Kuantan; and developed/implemented World Class Process Control Strategy in the new site which delivered +90% process reliability with significant capacity increase.
- Designed and started up P&G owned liquid operation in Beijing for both Liquid Detergent and Fabric Softener.
- Designed and started up Contractor manufacturing capability in Guangzhou China from green field in record breaking time (from design to production in 12 months from green field). The plant not only achived best in class value, but also meet P&G stringent micro/QA requirements.
2. R&D capability Development in Asia :
Established Best in Class R&D capability in Beijing Technical Center for Liquid process Design and Delivery : I recruited and trained a group of top talent Scientists and Engineers from Asia directly from Universities as well as post doc programs and developed them into globally competitive process Engineers and Scientists.
-Establish Best in Class Pilot plant capability in Beijing technical center for Liquid transformation and scale up study. The modular design and data acquisition systems were highly recognized and reapplied across company globally.
