Corporate and DMZ Services : Provide support and implementation of corporate and DMZ Firewall/Load Balancer requests in response to customer business requirements, spanning all McGraw-Hill business segments including Education, Finance(S&P), Market Data Services and Information & Media. Technologies include : F5 GTM/LTM, Checkpoint r75.40 Smart Domain Manager spanning multi-tiered DMZ infrastructure as well as Corporate/Remote Office and Partner VPN.
DMZ capacity planning : Responsible for the configuration, installation and maintenance of Cisco Nexus/Catalyst switching appliances, supporting corporate Web Hosting and Partner Network VPN infrastructures,
Server Provisioning : Review, implement and manage IP address and access switch provisioning for all DMZ servers hosted in all corporate data centers,
Corporate Proxy Administration : BlueCoat Proxy administration supporting corporate user internet access and management including Proxy server installations and upgrades spanning all global corporate office sites,
Business Process Management : Representing the Border Area Network group in Six Sigma initiatives, targeting Change Management processes for server provisioning, installation and decommission workflow improvement,
ITIL Service Management : Responsible for development and improvement of DMZ services and providing input to organization wide service management initiatives such as Release, Change and Incident management processes; as well as CMDB development project,
Member of Engineering Installation Review Committee (EIRC) : Provide Border Area Network and EDMZ representation to review and approve all server installations and decommissioning provisioning requests,
Compute Capacity On Demand : Member of CCOD committee responsible for developing DMZ requirements to create an in house “Cloud-like” customer experience, utilizing VMWare and SUN/SOLARIS LDOM server technologies.
