Built the support model and allocations model for IGT’s first production private cloud environment from the ground up.
Managed the day-to-day operations of IGT’s Private Cloud Shared Services platform consisting of a team of Tier1 & Tier2 staff monitoring, operating, and processing of web-based services for IGT’s Lottery customers.
Directed a team that developed new system, application, and network monitoring tools as well as processing and file delivery automation to keep headcount low.
• Awarded GTECH’s Business Excellence Gold award in 2012 for the Operations project work of getting the first US. Lottery Internet wagering off the ground
• Gary’s team was part of the overall 2012 GTECH’s highest award, the President award for the successful launch of the first US. Lottery Internet wagering.
• Operations Project Lead for the first US Lottery (Georgia) to provide full iLottery products including traditional draw-based games, iKeno and eInstant games at various price points in 2015.
• Worked with Information Security to have the first production based environment to be certified for ISO27001 : 2013 and since re-certified under ISO27001 : 2015
• Operations project manager for the 2016 iLottery launch in KY, bringing the total of US-based lotteries selling tickets via the internet up to four.

After 22 years in Datacenter IT operations, with the last 10 of those helping build from the ground up new Interactive web site vertical models for Lotteries, I’ve taken my extensive experience and moved over to the Information Security side of the business. My vast experience in Operations Management, Quality Assurance, SDLC, Systems Administration, LAN/WAN networking, Audit compliance, and PCI DSS experience provides me a rare ability to view Information Security from the full end-user experience and help develop and deliver projects and services to market and ensuring uptime will be maintained effectively, efficiently and of course securely
