About
Halyna is a tech entrepreneur & venture capitalist focused on cybersecurity, privacy & healthtech. She graduated from Cornell Tech with her LL.M in Technology and Entrepreneurship and worked with Pfizer, Amazon, and TrustArc, among others. After co-founding and serving as COO in healthtech and security startups, she pivoted her career to VC by establishing the first global USAID-backed early-stage accelerator for cybersecurity companies. Halyna currently leads portfolio development of cybersecurity & and healthcare vertices for Munich Re Ventures - the VC arm of the world’s biggest reinsurance company with $1.2 bln under management investing in early-stage startups.
She advised 150+ companies in 30 countries globally, scaled teams from 3 to 300 people, and led transactions from pre-seed to $500mln+ from Eastern Europe to Silicon Valley. Halyna serves on advisory boards internationally, writes as a Forbes contributor, and volunteers for Ukraine. She resides in San Francisco, CA.
