With over 20 years of experience in IT and information security, I am a Cybersecurity Infrastructure Operations professional at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), the largest integrated health care system in the country. My mission is to protect and enhance the enterprise cloud solutions that serve the nation's veterans and their families.
In my current role, I leverage my Azure and Microsoft Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals certifications and my expertise in network administration and cloud computing to lead and support various projects and initiatives. Some of my achievements include transitioning over 800 employees to telework, upgrading the entire office network infrastructure, and conducting quarterly vulnerability testing and daily vulnerability scans for hundreds of VA sites and computers, achieving over 99% compliance rating.
