B.R.I.T. Technical Institute (Biomedical, Radiology, and Information Technology) is an urban two-year nonprofit technical college conveniently and centrally located in Northeast Tarrant County, serving the thriving Dallas-Fort Worth Metropolitan area. B.R.I.T. will award Associate Degrees,Technical and Operational Certificates, as well as, a General Education Diploma(GED). Our goal is to provide comprehensive, quality post-secondary education to equip students to enter the growing Healthcare Technology Management(HTM) and IT job market.
Our plan is to obtain accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) and a programmatic accreditation from ABET, which is a not-for-profit, non-governmental accrediting agency for programs in applied science, computing, engineering and engineering technology and is recognized as an accreditor by the Council for Higher Education. Courses offered at BRIT Technical Institute will include : Electronics Repair Technology (Certificate), Biomedical Electronics Technology (AAS), Diagnostic Imaging Repair Technology (AAS and Certificate), and Information Technology with Healthcare and Security concentrations (AAS).
We believe, that with these offerings, B.R.I.T. Technical Institute will meet an industry need of producing qualified personnel for the advancing and ever-changing world of technology; and student expectations of career preparation through the provision of high-quality, affordable and innovative academic training.

I am an Army trained Biomedical Equipment Technician with over 15 years of experience in the industry. My specialties include, but are not limited to: Dialysis, Infusion systems, Fetal Monitoring systems, Sterilization systems, Ventilators and HVAC. I am also proficient in contractual strategy and negotiation, Microsoft Office Suites, healthcare compliance and regulations, government bid processes, education and training, technical writing, and account management.
My focus is to enhance the organizations that I work with, through the creation of streamlined processes that are congruent with company goals. I look for effective and efficient solutions to problems that are cost controlled and beneficial. I believe in cross-training personnel, continued professional development, and building strong customer relationships through constant communication. I encourage the use of technology and social media to push innovation.
I am a people person and I pride myself on being a charismatic personality with a great sense of humor. I feel that every individual should be treated with respect and dignity and I look for opportunities to work with people.
