As a member of Venable’s Privacy and Data Security practice, I advise and counsel clients on matters related to data security, data protection, and data risk management. I conduct comprehensive data security risk assessments and gap analyses, develop and implement data risk solutions and breach prevention and incident response programs. I also assists clients on a wide variety of complex litigation, including incident response investigations and litigation, focusing on the healthcare and financial institution industries.

Cybersecurity, data protection and privacy, and data risk management attorney in the New York office of Arnold and Porter. I counsel clients on maximizing data use and value within the confines of data protection laws, largely for companies in the life sciences, healthcare, and financial industries. I conduct comprehensive data security risk assessments, develop and implement data risk solutions, information security programs, and breach prevention and incident response plans, and engage in crisis management and breach notification and related investigations and litigation. I have extensive experience helping companies prepare for and respond to security incidents.
I also assist companies developing new technologies engage in privacy and security by design fundamentals and evaluate data risk associated with such new technology, including by participating in the Texas Medical Center's Innovation Institute as an Expert Advisor.
