Senior Consultant
The Penetration Tester position supports ControlScan’s QSA and managed services offerings, providing external and internal penetration testing efforts for ControlScan’s merchants, partners and their collective service providers. The role supports the continued improvement and incorporation for service deliverables and security technologies. The Penetration Tester provides sales support in the form of project scoping and development of statements of work.
• Perform manual internal and external network and application penetration testing
• Execute social engineering and physical on-site testing
• Complete project work accurately and within deadlines as required in accordance to rules of engagement and/or statement of work
• Create executive summary, risk and vulnerability assessment deliverables
• Single point of contact between the customer and Security Engineering
• Ability to clearly and accurately articulate and align threat and risk priorities relative to the customer’s business
• Ability to creatively identify compensating controls and remediation plans to address exposed vulnerabilities
• Assess and improve penetration methodology and assessment tools in accordance to vendor product/tool updates
