About
I am a cybersecurity executive with over 28 years of experience in building and leading pragmatic security programs across multiple industries, including financial services, insurance, and government. I am currently the CISO at State of Connecticut, where I am responsible for developing, executing, and monitoring a world-class cybersecurity and compliance program for the state's information and technology systems.
My mission is to empower organizations to confidently advance their business goals through proactive cybersecurity leadership. I collaborate cross-functionally to deeply understand business needs, then deliver tailored solutions that balance risk and opportunity. I also leverage my expertise and network to advise and support various boards, communities, and academic institutions in the field of cybersecurity and risk management. I am passionate about making security a strategic business enabler rather than a roadblock.
