Information Security Manager
Provide leadership subject matter expertise to develop and execute the information security strategy for the College of Arts and Sciences, Graduate School of Counseling and Education, and the Law School of Lewis & Clark College.
Perform information security risk assessments and communicate that risk to stakeholders and executive leadership. Recommend and validate information security controls throughout the College to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of its data.
Mature information security governance by leading the Information Security Council in developing College-wide policies and programs to address identified risks. Participate in other cross-campus governance groups.
Perform network and systems security analysis, lead incident detection and response, design secure architecture for services, integrate identity and access management, review third party contracts for security compliance, and provide security awareness training. Establish security standards and guidelines; perform risk management and assessment, incident management, and IT security systems management.
Lead projects for IT security-related initiatives; manage relationships with security vendors and contractors; recommend purchases for services; maintain contracts for those acquisitions.
