About
New technologies come to life almost daily. Rapid evolution in the field is fundamentally reshaping every aspect of our lives—improving communication, connecting people, and informing decisions. But with this transformation comes increased risk to intellectual property and information assets, which is why superior information and technology systems are no longer just “nice to have.” They are strategic imperatives that leading organizations must fully embrace. To remain competitive, a company and its CIO must be alert, adaptable, and open-minded. I have devoted my career to aligning technology resources with business goals. I am uniquely poised to add value to and drive meaningful change for a high-performing organization looking to maintain a dominant market position.
Throughout my career, I have held various leadership roles in which I reduced and eliminated technical debt, increased business agility, and adopted new technologies. Ultimately, my career is defined by my consistent delivery of measurable, impactful value. I currently serve as vice president of infrastructure and cybersecurity with Teachers Federal Credit Union. In this capacity, I lead all networking, architecture, and cybersecurity initiatives for this $8.2B financial institution. Some of the major highlights of my career include the following achievements:
• Building out the capabilities of the cybersecurity team and creating a defined charter with authorization to execute on technology initiatives.
• Restructuring the IT infrastructure team, including the redesign of job roles and responsibilities, introducing KPIs, and establishing new operating framework.
• Leading the development and implementation of a remote work plan for 500+ people in approximately 90 days resulting from the global pandemic.
• Modernizing a business continuity plan, migrating location, defining data classifications, and partnering with business units on recovery objectives.
I am always eager to expand my professional network. If you would like to connect, please contact me at jaaiello@yahoo.com.
